Great New Flavor!

I love the new salted watermelon flavor! I’ve been using BBOS for many years now and it is much better than Liquid IV but doesn’t receive nearly the amount of recognition it deserves. Thanks, Doc! I appreciate our back-and-forth years ago and I continue to remain a proud supporter and brand promoter of your product.

I USED TO ORDER FROM AMAZON, BUT NOW ONLY THROUGH THE BANANA BAG SITE TO SHOW EXTRA SUPPORT OF THEM! 2 THUMBS UP DR DERY! FYI- SALTED WATERMELON IS THEEEE BEST FLAVOR!

This stuff is GREAT

I stay on the side of dehydration. The Banana Bag works better for me than pretty much everything else on the market. I like the variety of flavors as well. Thank you for a wonderful product!

01 WHAT'S A BANANA BAG?

A “banana bag” originated in hospital settings as an intravenous solution of sodium/dextrose with a multivitamin injection that treats dehydration, exhaustion, restores B-vitamins, and boosts the immune system. The name "banana bag" was coined because the solution turns bright yellow when mixed with vitamins.

If you are unconscious and/or unable to tolerate fluids by mouth and have a history of heavy alcohol use, gastric surgeries, chronic and acute conditions that cause fatigue, dizziness, a compromised immune system, poor B-vitamin absorption, and become severely dehydrated and exhausted, you need a Banana Bag.

Two Reasons:

  1. Not everyone needs a trip to the ER and a needle in their arm to treat dehydration and get vitamin therapies. For those who can still tolerate oral fluids, this is achieved with a strict powder formula to dissolve in a glass of water and drink instead. This saves money, time, resources, and gives the same therapeutic relief for many people as if it was delivered intravenously.
  2. This fills a much-needed space at home or traveling when you need a prescription-strength remedy that’s proven, safe, clean of harmful ingredients and any unnecessary sugars, and hydrates and restores energy with therapeutic results second to getting an actual IV. READ MORE ABOUT THIS HERE.

This takes more explaining. Not everyone needs to have IV therapy in common, day-to-day situations involving clinical dehydration and/or exhaustion. If you can still tolerate fluids to drink (and not unconscious), the use of oral rehydration fluids is first-line therapy. However, the trend has been the opposite and people are choosing IV therapy when it's not necessary.

  • If the formula of sodium and dextrose in an oral solution is controlled, meaning you keep a strict osmolarity range in the guts, water is absorbed very efficiently giving near or equal restoration of fluids in the same amount of time or less as administering an IV.
  • For B-vitamins, when using high doses of them correctly, meaning in the right delivery method, there are many people in which absorption into the bloodstream happens at a therapeutic level. For those with vitamin deficiencies being followed by an M.D., this should not replace any means of current treatment without consultation first.

One packet dissolved in 8-16oz of water, as needed for dehydration and/or exhaustion, once daily. Best tasting with colder water. Can also add your sweetener of choice or a splash of juice to mask the strong vitamin/electrolyte taste.

There are 4g of dextrose, 4g of carbs, and about 15 calories.

No artificial sweeteners. No preservatives. No dyes. No artificial flavors. No GMOs. No gluten. Vegan.

4 grams of dextrose during a state of dehydration will be quickly utilized by the body and should not create any prolonged glucose spikes. However, for any medical conditions being followed by an M.D., please seek advice before using Banana Bag.  Search our reviews section, and you can find successful testimonials from diabetic customers.

Banana Bag contains the same B-vitamins found in pre-natal but at equal or higher amounts. If choosing to use Banana Bag occasionally, please seek approval from the baby doc first.

No. In addition to sodium chloride and potassium, Banana Bag also has very high-dose B-vitamins and 750mg of vitamin-C. And not theamount of sugar found in most commonly used products.

Yes and no. Banana Bag Oral Solution is generally well tolerated with almost everyone ages 14 and up. However, if you are under the care of physicians for a chronic medical condition, then consult with them first if choosing to use this regularly.
